Sam's Club Launches Retail Travel App

Standalone Sam’s Club Travel App now available for iOS and Android
Sam’s Club has announced the launch of a new, free Sam’s Club Travel mobile app that provides members-only savings on hotels, rental cars, vacation homes, and other travel activities, according to a press release.
The new, free Sam’s Club Travel mobile app marks the first mass market retailer to offer members a mobile app exclusively dedicated to leisure and business travel needs.
“Sam’s Club members now have access to simplified travel search and lightning-fast booking capabilities through a dedicated app right on their iOS or Android devices,” said Jamie Iannone, President and CEO of SamsClub.com. “Our app combines massive travel inventory and weekly deals to help members save time and money -- whether they’re planning a business trip or well-deserved vacation.”
The Sam’s Club Travel app is available to download for phones and tablets through iOS App Store and Google Play
The app provides “.Premium Destinations without Premium Prices, with an average of 15% off retail prices, and up to 50% off at select hotels, you can choose your favorite hotels worldwide, from brand to boutique, budget to luxury,” according to the description on Google Play.
The app includes a simplified search, last minute “deals” tab, a comprehensive inventory, faster booking, easy access to reservations, and 24/7 member support, as well as global adaptability that allows the user to change language, theme, and currency with the press of a button.
“Our mission as a membership club is to provide legendary member service and stay relevant to our members wherever and whenever they shop,” said Iannone. “I encourage our members to download both Sam’s Club apps to find savings of money and time on anything they need, from travel and everyday needs to pharmacy, credit and photo center services.”
Sam’s Club Travel was launched on SamsClub.com in June 2014 in collaboration with Tourico Holidays, a worldwide leader in innovative wholesale travel services.
