Windsor Hospitality Group's Newly-Renovated Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country Wins A Brand Award
Temecula, CA - From the day it first opened for business in 1995, Windsor Hospitality Group's Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country has been a key venue for the community. Now WHG, the hotel team and the community have a special reason to take some pride in this hotel. The property has recently won the Embassy Suites brand's "Most Improved Guest Satisfaction & Loyalty Award."
"This is the first time we have won it," says Director of Sales Vangie Esteban. "The hotel was in good shape prior to our renovations, but once we completed them, people saw the difference," she says. "Specifically, guests are really impressed about the new bedding, the ambiance, the Tuscan feel and comfort of the room. It's refreshing. This is basically a new hotel."
During the renovation, WHG stripped all of the rooms down to a shell, then replaced all wall covering and carpeting. They brought in brand new, elegant hard wood furniture to enhance the Country Italian décor. However WHG does not expect guests to check out of the twenty-first century when they check into the hotel. The company installed high-speed wireless connectivity, which has become a standard in most WHG properties.
"In addition to all of these property improvements, we have excellent service," Esteban explains. "I am proud to say that the people who work here have pride in their job and love to work here&so everything is in place. We have a new hotel, we have an excellent staff and we have the best value of any hotel in the area. That means guests get more for their money, because we have the new hotel and all of the amenities we provide for them."
Esteban is not the only one to express pride. WHG's Vice President of Sales Mark Goeman explains, "Because of General Manager Rachel Blake's and her staff's commitment to superior customer service, we knew the capital we invested in this property's renovations was money well-spent. Considering how this property contended with 177 other hotels that fly the Embassy Suites flag worldwide, we are delighted that Blake and her team received this recognition from the brand."
The hotel offers the Embassy Suites brand standards, such as the complimentary cooked-to-order breakfasts every morning and the daily Manager's Reception in the evening. The property's business center, fitness room, outdoor heated pool and 3,200 square-feet of banquet space make it the area's most business and event-friendly accommodations.
The property has also installed self-service kiosks for Express Check-in/Check- out. Esteban says, "People have commented they really like those kiosks. They are convenient and they give our guests a sense of control¬ everyone has started to use them yet, but awareness about them is spreading and we have gotten positive feedback so far."
However it is the area-specific things that set the Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country apart from its competition. "We have 22 really nice golf courses in the area," says Esteban, " and many wineries are a straight shot from the hotel. This is a great venue for weddings, corporate retreats and leisure travel."
Their new Honeymoon Suites are equipped with jacuzzi tubs. Grapeline Tours' shuttles pick-up and drop-off guests for excursions through the wine country. The Promenade and Lake Elsinore Outlet Mall are within 15 minutes of the hotel and Old Town Temecula's antique shops are within blocks of the property. Chef Bernard helps guests end their day with his signature dinner and dessert selections.
Taking all of this into account, is the team at the Embassy Suites Temecula Valley Wine Country honored to have won the brand's "Most Improved Guest Satisfaction & Loyalty Award?" Absolutely. Are they surprised? Not exactly.
