Wahaca – Pay Your Bill By Mobile App

Wahaca, a MICROS customer, is allowing customers in two stores to pay for food using their smartphones, thanks to a service from Flypay.  I decided to go along for lunch and try it out.

As soon as I sat down in the restaurant I could see advertising for the app on the table. The QR code that I needed to scan was right in the corner of the table and very easy to notice.

The pay by smartphone service was clearly promoted on the table so that customers could find out more about the app and follow the very clear step by step guide of how to use it. I also thought it was great that you could log into Wahaca’s wifi to download the app if you didn’t have it already.
