Telephone Technology

A Northern Telecomm Meridian Option 11c Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system is the hardware used to transfer incoming calls and provide statistical information pertaining to abandonment, call distribution and scheduling. The ACD is equipped with a digital recording device for customized greetings and music on hold.

To enhance the quality and direction of calls, an Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system has functionality to work in conjunction with the ACD. An IVR application provides geographical information for tracking call activity.
