Toyota Park And Chicago Fire Install The MICROS 9700 HMS Integrated POS Solution To Streamline Operations And Elevate The Fan Experience
Village of Bridgeview selects new technology partner for Chicago-based sports and entertainment venue
Columbia, MD - MICROS Systems, Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that the Village of Bridgeview, the owner and management company of Toyota Park, has selected a fully integrated MICROS point-of-sale solution for the stadium, home to the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. Toyota Park is a Chicago-based stadium which hosts a wide array of sporting and entertainment events for the area. The solution includes MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) with 92 Keyboard Workstation 270 (KW270) POS terminals for concession operations, 5 Workstation 5A (WS5A) touchscreen terminals for premium operations, and the MICROS Perpetual Inventory and Event Management Solution for increased control of operations.
With high maintenance and support costs for Toyota Park’s legacy POS solution, the Village of Bridgeview selected MICROS technology to help streamline operations, reduce the cost of overall system support, increase the bottom line, and improve the fan experience. The MICROS solution provides Toyota Park with a more reliable technology solution with hardware that uses standard TCP/IP Ethernet Topology, reduced overall maintenance costs, and expedited service with a local MICROS service and support team. Fans will also benefit from the new MICROS solution at Toyota Park with increased speed-of-service at the venue and a future offering of stored-value ticketing and other loyalty solutions.
“We selected MICROS’s solution as we found it to be the most advanced and user-friendly technology in the marketplace,” declared Jonathan Butkas, Information Technology Manager, Village of Bridgeview. “MICROS is a strong partner we can trust to support us in the long-term with any of our future initiatives. Having local service and support is a huge benefit for us as we know that all of our needs will be addressed effectively and in a timely manner.”
“MICROS is very excited about the Village of Bridgeview and Toyota Park’s move to MICROS as its technology partner,” stated Don DeMarinis, Vice President of MICROS Leisure and Entertainment Business Unit. “We are proud to offer technology solutions that will improve its operations and the fan experience. MICROS’s solutions are very flexible and scalable and will easily expand with both the Village of Bridgeview and Toyota Park well into the future.”
