TESA Entry Systems and Philips CSI team up to keep eye on hospitality industry

TESA Entry Systems and Philips CSI announce a global strategic co-operation to provide CCTV surveillance systems specifically designed to meet the needs of the hospitality industry. This pairing of the leaders in their respective industries combines the strengths of TESA ESI's experience within the hospitality industry with Philips CSI's expertise in surveillance technology.

As with TESA ESI's electronic locking systems, complete surveillance systems will be offered to provide security solutions customized to fit individual property requirements. In July, this program will be launched on a global scale to provide product consistency throughout hotel chains worldwide. The program is expected to reach individually owned properties by the fourth quarter of this year.

Demand in the marketplace is increasing for integrated security solutions provided by a single supplier. "Because of our long-standing commitment to serving the hospitality industry, our corporate customers are asking us to provide additional security products, such as surveillance systems; with the same exceptional values, service and consistency as our electronic locking solutions and electronic safes," states Pascal Metivier, VP Global Sales and Marketing for TESA Entry Systems. "TESA ESI can now provide total security solutions to the hospitality industry including electronic locks, in-room safes, access control, energy management devices and CCTV, all backed by our commitment to provide superior service worldwide."

"Philips is looking forward to this co-operation that joins the strength of TESA ESI in the hospitality market and of Philips in the CCTV industry," says Robert Smulders, VP Sales & Marketing of Philips CSI. "This joint program has been custom tailored from a hotel management perspective utilizing the Research and Development resources of both companies to develop ideal configurations to accommodate the unique needs of hotels worldwide."

TESA Entry Systems' ability to respond to the evolving needs of the hospitality industry enables them to consistently deliver value based quality products.
