Starwood Hotels & Resorts Reserve Kenexa's Expertise For First Global Web-Based Employee Engagement Survey

Survey Customized to Starwood's Organization Will Help Drive Employee Satisfaction and Business Performance

WAYNE, PA - Kenexa®, a global leader in innovative human resource solutions, today announced it has been retained by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading hotel and leisure companies in the world with well-known properties including Westin®, Sheraton®, Four Points® by Sheraton, St. Regis®, W Hotels® and The Luxury Collection®, to administer a Web-based global employee engagement survey for Starwood's 116,000 associates.

Working in collaboration with Starwood's human resources management team, Kenexa will provide the hosted technology to administer and manage the survey process across Starwood's estimated 750 locations in 80 countries and in 37 languages. Kenexa will also provide its human capital management expertise to make customized action planning recommendations that ensure business performance improvements in key measurement areas. The customized survey will measure significant areas ranging from commitment and teamwork to job satisfaction and work/life balance.

Before working with Kenexa, Starwood's seven divisions each implemented and managed its own individual survey.
