Stand-alone Electronic Pushbutton Lock
With this lock system, a hotel staff uses simple software to generate access codes for a guest's stay according to the specified room number, security level, and arrival/departure date. With a phone call, fax or email, guests can be notified of their room number and access code. One code allows guest to access their room and common areas, and then it automatically expires at the end of their stay. The lock eliminates the need for keys or cards, is equipped with both visible and audible indicators, and features a keypad that is the same as those used on phones and ATM machines to deliver security and performance.
The lock is offered in several finishes including satin chrome, satin brass and custom colors. It operates on four AA standard alkaline batteries. Standard features also include an audit memory capability for up to 2,000 transactions, as well as an anti-pick latch and deadbolt to prevent forced entry.
The lock system consists of a software package, a Palm unit to program to audit the locks and in-room safes. The system can operate stand-alone or interface with a PMS.
