Six Continents Hotels Appoints Mark Snyder Senior Vice President, Brand Management, Holiday Inn® Hotels and Resorts, North America
Snyder will be responsible for brand marketing and business strategies for all Holiday Inn hotels and resorts in North America, including the Holiday Inn Select, Holiday Inn SunSpree Resorts, and Holiday Inn Family Suites brands, a total of more than 1,100 hotels. He reports directly to Tom Seddon, senior vice president, Americas Brand Strategy, Six Continents Hotels, Inc.
With more than fifteen years in the hospitality industry, Snyder has proven experience in both hotel marketing and operations. Most recently, Snyder has served as senior vice president, Brand Management for Embassy Suites Hotels, a Hilton brand.
During his successful tenure with Hilton (previously Promus), Snyder demonstrated an ability to lead brands to consistent levels of competitive outperformance, including winning four consecutive JD Power quality awards for Embassy Suites. He has deep experience in brand positioning and branding strategy as well as field marketing, advertising and franchise relations. In addition he has extensive operational experience, having started his hospitality career as a hotel general manager.
