Serene Sleep On A Hotel Room Cot? It Happens At Hilton
Hilton Short Hills Introduces Portable Serenity Bed
Short Hills, NJ – Anyone who has ever slept on the fold-out couch at Grandma's house has a good idea of what to expect from the average hotel roll-away bed. Now travelers who once felt like the extra kid at a sleep-over can enjoy the same luxury bestowed on their bed-sleeping room-mates with the introduction of Hilton Short Hills' Portable Serenity Bed.

New Jersey's premier urban resort has taken the roll-away bed to a new level, adding Serenity Bed custom-designed plush-top twin size mattresses and bedding that mirrors those on standard Hilton Short Hills guest room beds. The result is no mere cot: the Hilton Short Hills Portable Serenity Bed is twice the height of a standard hotel cot, getting extra guests up off the floor. A super topper mattress pad, down comforter, down pillows and full-size executive sheets ensure a full Serenity Bed experience.
"Travel enough as the third adult in a party and you'll eventually experience the great leveler of all hotel rooms – the roll-away," says Paul Grande, Hilton Short Hills' director of security and housekeeping. "Roll-aways are usually a universally uncomfortable experience for an adult. Children can feel left out because they're not sleeping on a ‘real bed' like their parents. Our Portable Serenity Beds aren't just cots with nice sheets on them. We've turned them into actual beds as comfortable as any standard bed you might sleep on in a fine hotel."
