POCSAG Logging Receiver
The unit is comprised of a digital radio receiver, a two-line 40 character LCD display, and a logic controller. The logic controller decodes the information received, and sends it to the display and serial port.
The system can also be used to re-transmit the received signals to a second transmitter when a single transmitter is unable to cover the distances required. This option requires the additional fitting of a transmitter and selecting the appropriate options provided by a set of DIP switches on the logic PCB. The output can be formatted for a printer, computer or a second paging transmitter as described above. Two baud rates are supported, 9600 and 1200 bps. The system operates on an input voltage of 115 volts AC. Frequency of the receiver must be specified at time of purchase. Additionally, each page that is decoded and logged, will activate a relay giving a dry contact output and a sounder. Both of these outputs will be active for 20 seconds.
