Percipia Collaborates With Amazon's Alexa Smart Properties Hospitality To Launch VIVA+
Percipia introduces VIVA+, an all-in-one hospitality solution that makes it easy for hotel guests to make calls, explore hotel amenities and services, and more using just their voice.
Percipia, a leading provider of hospitality phone systems and enhanced guest room technology for hotels, resorts, casinos, and conference centers, announces the release of VIVA+, an all-in-one hospitality solution built on Alexa Smart Properties (ASP) for Hospitality that is available now to all new and current Percipia clients.
VIVA+ integrates Percipia’s IP phone system, Frequency PBX and Frequency Stratus, and guest voicemail solution, Precision Voicemail, by utilizing their middleware engine, Parallax. VIVA+ transforms the guest experience by offering a comprehensive suite of features in a single, sleek device. Guests can effortlessly make calls, explore hotel amenities and services, and access a personalized voice mailbox, all through intuitive voice commands or a touch interface.
Frequency is an affordable and hardware-agnostic Internet Protocol phone system designed specifically for the hospitality industry. It is available on-premise or in the cloud and empowers properties to choose the best option for their operation. Both Frequency PBX and Frequency Stratus have a built-in solution for guest voicemail, Precision Voicemail, that enables guest voice mailboxes to move with the guest from room to room, be accessible on the go via dial-in or email, and even retrievable by the guest after checkout. VIVA+’s hospitality calling capabilities through Frequency showcase the dynamic partnership between Percipia and Amazon’s Alexa for Hospitality, further pushing the boundaries for the future of hospitality technology.
VIVA+ uses Parallax to integrate many different third-party systems, like Alexa, allowing guests to use their voice to order valet service, room service, and spa bookings, for example, via an Alexa-enabled device. Parallax feeds information from a PMS to a property’s telephony system and also provides third-party software guest information held in the PMS, such as loyalty information and express check-out. By combining these two solutions and partnering with Amazon’s Alexa for Hospitality, Percipia has created a connected and intuitive all-in-one solution to further elevate the guest experience.
“We’re thrilled that VIVA+ can now be integrated into Echo Show devices for hospitality deployments,” said Bram Duchovnay, Director of Alexa Smart Properties. “This collaboration combines essential hospitality calling features from Percipia with the intuitive Alexa voice experience. VIVA+ elevates the guest experience by providing a unified voice interface to place calls, explore amenities, make requests, and more—all through the power of voice or touch.”
