Marriott To Open Courtyard Hotel In Wichita, KS
Washington, D.C. - Marriott International, Inc. is scheduled to open the 128-room Courtyard by Marriott in Wichita, KS shortly. Located at 820 East Second Street North, the Courtyard Wichita at Old Town will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Old Town Lodging, LLC and managed by A.G. Hospitality Management Services, LLC.
Located in historic Old Town and 15 minutes from the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, the Courtyard Wichita at Old Town offers guests convenient access to Big Dog Motorcycles, Airbus, Cargill and the Old Town entertainment district. Opening rates will start at $159 per night.

Meeting the evolving needs of the traveler, Courtyard has redesigned its public space. The new concept includes, a business library featuring individual workstations with high-speed data ports and ergonomic chairs; a pantry-style, 24-hour "grab and go" food and beverage area called The Market, and a lounge area where guests can work and meet in a relaxing setting.
The six-story hotel was originally built in 1930 as the Ranney-Davis food warehouse and features a waterfall in the atrium as well as three meeting rooms with 4,100 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions of up to 382 people. Other guest facilities and services include the Courtyard Cafe restaurant, serving breakfast, whirlpool spa, exercise room, guest laundry and business center.
Courtyard guest rooms feature either a king-size bed or two queen-size beds, a seating area with sofa bed or oversized chair, a large, well-lit work desk and two telephones equipped with data ports. The Courtyard Wichita at Old Town features three suites with a king-size bed, refrigerator and microwave oven. Other in-room amenities include coffee maker, hair dryer, iron with ironing board, and cable television with a free premium movie channel. The hotel is the latest hotel to offer Marriott's new, more luxurious bedding, which features plusher mattresses, custom comforters, crisp linens, fluffier pillows, and a new, fresh, white look.
