From its humble beginnings in 1958 as an importer of crystal and metal components for the lighting fixture industry, Lights of Distinction and the Crystorama Lighting Group has evolved into a leading figure in the lighting marketplace for traditional chandeliers, pendant fixtures, and wall sconces. Moving outside, but not abandoning, the focused market of crystal lights, the family owned and operated company has established itself as a prime manufacturer of bronze, cast brass, alabaster, and etched glass lights that capture, in many instances, a true historic period.

Lights of Distinction proudly utilizes only the finest components in its manufacturing processes, such as Strass crystal from Svarovski, natural alabaster from Spain and Italy, etched glass from Vianne in France, and solid cast brass housings from foundries across the United States and Europe. All of these items are finished and assembled in Lights of Distinction's facilities in New York.

The company is no stranger to custom lighting requests. With so much of the product line designed for public space application, Lights of Distinction has a very eager to please attitude when approached about custom lighting. The company can modify or even custom design fixtures from scratch in dimensions of up to 9 or 10 feet in diameter or more depending upon the materials and the application. If you are looking for a lighting resource for traditional fixtures for your suites, lobbies, meeting areas, or luxury guest rooms, the only place to stop is at Lights of Distinction.
