Kayak.Com Selects The Brooklyn Brothers As Ad Agency Of Record

Multi-Million Dollar Marketing Campaign Scheduled to Launch in Time for the Summer Travel Season

Norwalk, CT - Kayak.com, a travel search engine, announced that it has selected New York-based The Brooklyn Brothers as its first-ever advertising agency of record. The Brooklyn Brothers will handle brand advertising for Kayak.com and provide marketing strategy and creative execution for the site's first ever advertising campaign scheduled to launch in June.

"Kayak.com is already the preferred travel site for millions of savvy travelers thanks to buzz and word-of-mouth but advertising is the key to gaining market share and building a world-class brand," said Dean Harris, chief marketing officer, Kayak.com. "In The Brooklyn Brothers, we found an experienced team with the creativity and drive to make Kayak.com a household name."

Kayak.com conducted an extensive search and considered six award-winning boutique agencies before selecting three agencies to present and finally choosing The Brooklyn Brothers. With a total budget exceeding $10 million, The Brooklyn Brothers marketing campaign will run in both offline and online media. Kayak.com will be the first travel search engine to launch an offline advertising campaign.

"Kayak.com is a great brand-to-be and will change the way we plan and book travel, in the same way that Travelocity and Expedia changed it a decade ago." Said Guy Barnett, Creative Director of The Brooklyn Brothers. "This is an incredible coup for our agency and we are thrilled by the opportunity to introduce and build the travel industry's next power brand."
