JTB Furniture Manufacturing Co.
The company continued to grow in the 60's, 70's and 80's with expansions and additions in sales and manufacturing. Company growth was enhanced with the addition of a holding company and segmenting the sales effort into two distinct groups; retail sales and contract or hotel furniture sales.
In early 1988, Scott and Reau Berry, the current owners further pursued their grandfathers entrepreneurial spirit and began focusing on "A New Generation of Extra Effort" which characterized, not only the prosperous history of J.T.B., but was also indicative of the prevailing spirit at J.T.B. today. Since 1988 sales have continued to grow, both in retail and contract. Today J.T.B. is recognized as a leader not only in domestic production but also as an international supplier.
J.T.B. currently supplies multiple retailers nationwide and enjoys contract sales with large national hotel chains including Hampton Inns, Fairfield, Courtyard by Marriott and many others.
Boasting a 750,000 square foot manufacturing complex, as well as a complete lumber yard and drying kilns, J.T.B. literally processes its furniture from rough sawn timber to finished product on its journey through the plant. Multiple features; solid cabinet hardwood, selected veneers, hand finishing, anodized brass hardware, drawer stops and dust-proofing add up to quality, style and value making J.T.B. "Just the Best" for over six decades.
Today, J.T.B. and its employees are working together to meet the needs of their customers by giving that "extra effort" to provide quality and satisfaction — just as Mr. Johnston did when he formed the company in 1932.
Mr. Johnston's family tradition lives on — in the quality of the elegant all-wood furniture produced here, and in the extra effort to please our customers.
