The in-room energy management system is comprised of intelligent, infra red based occupancy sensors which are linked to a microprocessor based switching control module. The system changes the temperature in a room when no occupancy is detected and automatically detects a guest upon entrance and restores the temperature to the guest's desired temperature.

The system is custom designed for each property and HVAC unit. It is designed to interface with any hospitality cooling heating and ventilation system such as PTAC (Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner), PTHP (Packaged Terminal Heat Pumps), as well as baseboard heaters or even central chillers and Fan coil based units (FCU's).

The entire installation takes approximately 1.5 hours.
