The High Capacity Dehumidification (HCD) system is designed to control humidity in industrial and commercial applications.
The High Capacity Dehumidification (HCD) system is designed to control humidity in industrial and commercial applications. The standard HCD operates as a reheat unit that dehumidifies and returns warm, dry air to the enclosure through an airside reheat coil.

The HCD with Heat Recovery allows recovered heat to be rejected through either the air reheat coil for air heating or through an optional air/water cooled condenser if space cooling is required. When necessary, supplemental heating can be provided by hot water coil, electric or gas-fired duct heater options.

The HCD dehumidification system is ideal for any high-moisture location with concern for material preservation, quality control, structural damage, health, comfort, productivity, equipment damage, spoilage and lower production cost. Typical applications include:

  • Museums
  • Printing Plants
  • Industrial Processes
  • Basements
  • Libraries
  • Art Galleries
  • Warehouses
  • Waster Water Treatment Plants
The HCD is managed by the TD-2000 microprocessor-based controller using the latest computer technology for easy and reliable operation. The wall-mounted controller can be positioned near the unit, or it can be located up to 1,000 feet away for remote monitoring. The TD-2000 system includes sensors that monitor inside air temperature and humidity, plus outside temperature with economizer option.

The evaporator coil is polyester-coated aluminum or copper for use in corrosive environments, and the compressors are fully hermetic, high efficiency, heat pump rated reciprocating or compliant scroll. The vertical orientation takes up very little space with air supply discharge at the top or rear, depending on duct installation. The cabinets are galvanized steel and plastic epoxy-coated for double protection and long life.
