Evolution Hospitality Adds Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills To Portfolio

33-Year Marriott International Veteran Murray Lowe Selected as GM

San Clemente, CA /PRNewswire-iReach/ - Evolution Hospitality has assumed operational responsibility for the 474-room Warner Center Marriott Woodland Hills. The California-based hotel management company was selected to operate the asset by new owner Laurus Corporation, a private real estate investment and development firm based in Los Angeles, CA that purchased the property in late July. This is the second hotel that Evolution Hospitality manages on behalf of Laurus Corporation.

Murray Lowe has been chosen to lead the Warner Center Marriott team as its new general manager. Prior to joining Evolution Hospitality Lowe worked for Marriott International for 33 years in operations and food and beverage positions. For the last seven years Lowe served as general manager at the 370-room Marina del Ray Marriott and immediately prior he spent six years as the GM of the 579-room Fort Lauderdale Marina Marriott.

The 16-story, full-service hotel is located in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley in the 10.3 million-square-foot Warner Center office park. It features 474 rooms and suites, four food and beverage outlets, and over 28,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. A $10 million renovation is planned for the hotel in 2015.
