Costco Travel Signs Agreement With Trading Places International To Host iCondoVacations

Costco Travel signs a contract with Trading Places International to host the new icondovacations rental booking engine online in the travel section of costco.com. Developed as a dynamic booking engine, iCondoVacations allows timeshare owners, developers and homeowner associations to offer their rental weeks to special membership-based markets. As a property management company, Trading Places rents owner inventory as well as inventory from its managed resorts and excess inventory from other property management companies.

Trading Places began the online booking services in 2004 with the intent to grow a dedicated affiliation network to reach a larger, more affluent audience. Mike Kizerian, Trading Places' President of Information Systems, commented "Costco Travel reaches a very large, dedicated audience that will now greatly benefit from the added online condo vacation rentals opportunities. Our timeshare owners and home owners associations continually look for additional means to rent inventory and our online booking engine provides a quick, secure method to manage rentals. We're very excited about this new contract."

Concurrently, Costco Travel is pleased to offer the reduced rate condo vacation weeks to its members. Denise Kowalski, Manager of Corporate Travel and Ancillary Businesses for Costco said, "Costco's philosophy is simple, keep costs down and pass the savings on to our members. Costco Travel prides itself in offering valuable, cost-saving services to our members and the condo vacation rental engine is an ideal fit for our members and their families. Offering great savings on vacation stays throughout U.S. and Canada at high demand, condominium resorts, is a great benefit to offer."
