Cornell To Present Industry, Faculty Panel On Hospitality Labor Relations

At the 12th edition of the Dean's Leadership Series, co-presented by the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration (SHA) and the Cornell Hotel Society, a panel of hospitality industry executives and faculty will discuss "The Future of Hospitality Labor Relations." The event will be held Monday, November 11, 2013 at the Grand Hyatt New York, 7:30–10:00 a.m. A networking breakfast will precede the panel discussion. Register here to attend.

"The impact of labor relations permeates the hospitality industry. Employers, employees, unions, government entities, and academics alike must understand the needs of the various stakeholders and the best strategies for moving forward," said Michael D. Johnson, SHA dean and E. M. Statler Professor. "In July 2013, we launched the Cornell Institute for Hospitality Labor and Employment Relations, making this a perfect time to tackle these issues at a Dean's Leadership Series panel."

The Dean's Leadership Series was established in 2007 as a platform for industry leaders to discuss the most important topics facing hospitality and travel today.
