The Avora FR collection is a new line of hospitality fabrics that, according to the manufacturer, offer the same comfort and elegance of residential fabrics while meeting the flame-retardant and resilience specifications of contract textiles.
The line combines stripes, plaids, and figure-textured patterns with high quality hand and drape, and is coordinated for use in guestrooms, conference suites, lobbies, and public living and dining areas.
The manufacturer states that the fabric is colorfast to light, brush and pill resistant, and tested with over 50,000 double rubs for heavy duty upholstery.
Two of the line's designs are based on 18th century silk patterns from the manufacturer's archives, and one is adapted from an archival Italian 17th century cut velvet. The fabrics are available in 24 color ways and can be custom colored to meet customer requests.
