ConneXions On-Site Paging Transmitter

The Scope ConneXions is an UHF alphanumeric and numeric encoder and radio paging transmitter offered in two models. One that can be attached directly into any analog telephone extension and a Line Port unit that can be attached to an open C/O (central office) port. The Line Port model supplies its own 48 volts DC for operation, allowing on-site paging from any telephone extension.

The system is preprogrammed with 10 telephone messages, expandable to 50 messages of up to 60 characters each. It contains one 9-Pin RS232 port for computer paging or input of other serial data using COMP2 or SCOPE paging protocol, one 25-Pin RS232 port for attachment of an optional expansion unit for voltage or dry contacts up to 255. Each unit comes with 10 dry contacts that may be utilized to monitor unoccupied areas, door openings, or call buttons.

This system will accommodate 9,999 pagers, both alphanumeric and numeric. Paging can be accomplished from a standard IBM compatible computer using the optional Page-Link Pro  paging software. The system requires an input voltage of 115VAC and operates from a 13.8Volts DC internal power supply.

The unit has three COM PORTS, two 9-Pin RS232 ports for computer paging or input of other serial data in a paging protocol for paging and one 25-Pin RS232 port for paging or for attachment of an optional expansion unit for voltage or dry contacts up to 255. Each unit comes with 10 dry contacts that may be utilized to monitor unoccupied areas, door openings, or call buttons. This system will accommodate 9,999 pagers, both alphanumeric and numeric. Additionally, the system is equipped for paging from a standard IBM compatible computer using Page-Link Propaging software. The system requires an input voltage of 115VAC and operates on 13.8Volts DC internal power supply.
