Benjamin West Named As Purchasing Firm For Marriott Renaissance Hotel, Chicago

Boulder, CO - Sage Hospitality Resources of Denver, CO has named Benjamin West to provide furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) purchasing services for the redevelopment of the historic Blackstone Hotel in downtown Chicago, IL into a 332-room Marriott Renaissance Hotel.

According to Sage, the project will maintain a great deal of the historic fabric including the original Presidential Suite and a historic lobby. The Hotel will feature 13,000-sf of meeting space, an art hall, a club lounge, and a dynamic street level bar and restaurant. The hotel is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007.

Benjamin West is believed to be one of the hospitality industry's largest FF&E purchasing firms. The firm is believed to provide a full range of purchasing services, including specification bidding, technical analysis, code compliance, and financial management for hotels in the mid-market, upscale and luxury segments.
