Alphanet Announces Purchase Agreement With Manhattan East Suite Hotels
--Southgate Tower Hotel in New York City Adds Cordless Phones To Guest Suites--
Ramsey NJ, January 10, 2001 - AlphaNet Hospitality Systems Inc., the leading supplier of business travel solutions to the hospitality industry, announced an agreement today with the Southgate Tower Hotel, a part of the Manhattan East Suite hotel chain, to install over 500 InnPhones in all guest suites. The agreement is the initial stage of a 2000-unit commitment with AlphaNet for cordless phone installations in all Manhattan East properties. The InnPhone is a two-line cordless phone designed exclusively for hotels by TeleMatrix Inc. InnPhone utilizes the latest 900 MHz Spread Spectrum Technology, which allows hotel guests the flexibility and freedom to make and receive calls from anywhere in the room. InnPhone also includes a computer data port, guest service buttons, a message waiting indicator and a bi-directional speakerphone with on-hook dialing, all providing additional convenience for the business traveler.
