Webvue, a Web-enabled extension to this company's back office financial management system, utilizes an intranet or Internet communication infrastructure to provide remote sites with access to a hotel's financial and statistical information. New features of the tool include:
- G/L and States template entry: allows description modification in templates entries, and allows templates to be added. Also allows modification of an entered, but unposted, template.
- Voucher entry: allows entry of prepaid vouchers.
- General ledger trial balance: provides an option to run the G/L trial balance.
The manufacturer states that this tool can help increase efficiency by allowing remote properties to input data into an accounting system, eliminating the double entry of information.
