CurbStand Launches #soLAvalet Campaign

According to a press release, Fatburger is launching a new mobile app to find parking.

The iOS app, called CurbStand, allows users to seamlessly locate, pay and tip for valet parking from their mobile devices, today announced the unveiling of its #soLAvalet campaign.

For a limited time, customers at the Fatburger West Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles locations can use the free CurbStand app, with plans for additional locations in the future.

The CurbStand app is used in three steps: Selecting the nearest valet with CurbStand’s geolocator map, viewing the valet rate for the selected parking location and confirming the payment type and amount – including an option to tip, and showing the app-generated reference number to parking personnel, with a receipt automatically emailed.

The app name #soLAvalet” (as in that’s so L.A.) is being hijacked from pop culture and being transformed into a tongue-in-cheek slogan for the fun and unique collaboration.

"CurbStand's #soLAvalet campaign speaks to the many 'only in L.A.' experiences that everyone from locals to commuters to tourists encounter. We're embracing the exceptional appeal of our city and applying it to our contemporary valet parking service," said Serge Gojkovich, CEO, CurbStand. "Fatburger is the perfect collaborative partner to kick off the campaign and we will announce a host of other uniquely L.A. experiences in the near future."

Fatburger, the nation's "Last Great Hamburger Stand," has more than 150 locations in 32 countries around the world. The convenience of CurbStand valet parking is being introduced for a limited time to customers at Fatburger's West Hollywood and Downtown L.A. locations with plans for additional locations in the future:

  • Fatburger West Hollywood: 7450 Santa Monica Boulevard and North Gardner Street
  • Fatburger Downtown L.A.: 888 South Figueroa Street

"CurbStand is offering a distinctively L.A. concierge-style valet experience for the West Hollywood and Downtown L.A. communities," said Arya Alexander, CurbStand's Head of Business Development.

"We're making it all the more convenient to find and pay for parking, and savor Fatburger's signature burger -- the ultimate in West Coast customer service," added Thayer Wiederhorn, Vice President of Marketing, Fatburger.

CurbStand is currently available in Los Angeles and is expected to become available in more than six U.S. cities within 12 months. Now serving 80 locations and more than 140 businesses – including many of the most prestigious restaurant and bar locations in Los Angeles, the company is adding approximately 5-10 locations a week.
