Buffalo Wild Wings Has Launched Its Own Branded Radio Station “B-Dubs Radio powered by Wings, Beer, and Sports” Debuts On iHeartRadio

In its latest attempt to connect with its guests, Buffalo Wild Wings has announced the debut of its exclusive branded radio station, “B-Dubs Radio powered by Wings, Beer, and Sports,” on iHeart Radio, according to a press release.

The new branded digital station streams contemporary music, custom sports programming, and exclusive vignettes, customized to its patrons.

Bob Ruhland, vice president of marketing, Buffalo Wild Wings explained the new concept, saying “We wanted to create our own unique ongoing radio station that incorporates two of our Guests’ key passions – sports and music. It’s another great way for us to engage our Guests outside of our restaurants, while also letting them know about specials and activities they’ll find when they come in for the next big game.”

The station will also include ads for the restaurant as well as the latest offerings and specials, according to the Nation’s Restaurant News. Owned by iHeartMedia, iHeartRadio is a free, all-in-one digital radio and music streaming service that recommends music and aggregates radio content across more than 1,000 stations, and allows users to create personalized custom stations and like/dislike songs. Listeners can log in online, on mobile and tablets, in their cars, and on connected devices including TV's and gaming consoles.

The station may be accessed online, via smart devices, or through connected game consoles or televisions, and it is just the latest in the line of entertainment platforms adopted by Buffalo Wild Wings recently. Previously, the chain introduced B-Dubs TV and tableside tablets equipped with GameBreak.

GameBreak is a single sign-on, multiplatform gaming experience that lets guests access a wide array of games in the restaurant via tablet or through a mobile app for Android and iOS devices.

Buffalo Wild Wings has over 1,045 locations across North America.
